Dreams Do Come True

Hello Dear Quilty Friend,

How has your sewing room been? Are you keeping it busy?

There is a lot happening in my sewing space right now. As I type I am surrounded by a dozen new projects I made recently. It’s a really great feeling. To know that I’ve accomplished so much, just little old me. Sewing small projects, writing the instructional patterns for them and drawing the fabric prints I get to sew with.

Wait…

What was that?

I don’t think I wrote that correctly.

What I meant to say was, I designed my FIRST FABRIC COLLECTION AND HAVE BEEN SEWING WITH FABRICS THAT LITERALLY HAVE MY NAME ON THEM!!!!!!

Oops too loud! Sorry I’ve been keeping this in for a while. Can you tell I am thrilled?

Well, that’s about the hardest thing I’ve ever had to keep secret and I’m so happy to finally share it with you!

A little background, I have had the pleasure of working with some wonderful fabric companies for the last few years. One of which is Camelot Fabrics. They are a Canadian company with a wide range of fabric designs that ship all over the country and world! I came across some of their fabrics while browsing some online shops. The designs were so cute I didn’t even second guess the purchase. As soon as the fabrics arrived I knew they were too adorable to put on the shelf, so I started on a project with them right away. The item I made was the Creator’s Compendium. Recognize it? I posted the picture as I usually do and added some hashtags that related to the projects. Little did I know that with one single picture I would make a connection that has been so meaningful to me.

In the following months I collaborated with the team at Camelot Fabrics. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed imagining new ways to use their fabrics. Some creations could be shared right away and others were secretly planned for Lookbooks and Quilt Market. You can see some of the items I made for them in this blog feature they invited me to be a part of:

Get to Know Jasmine Rosal Hey Mom, look it’s me!

The partnership was already such a blessing to me. Every interaction was easy, the projects were so much fun to make and I just couldn’t believe how lucky I was to connect with such a great team at a well-established fabric company.

Well, from that point it just got better. Now I’m working with the team to learn the ropes in surface pattern design and am in awe by the entire process. Creating my own fabric collection is dream come true. One that I have been too afraid to mention out loud but here we are and it’s happening, now.

Let me get to the star of the show.

Here is the first collection by Linen Bouquet with Camelot Fabrics

It’s a DREAM!

There is so much I want to share with you about this collection. Like where the inspiration came from, the FREE Quilt Pattern you can download and of course the Hexie Flowers Lookbook Here where you will find inspirational, one of a kind sewing projects designed and handmade by yours truly.

Yes, I made every single piece so go check it out. I think you’re going to love it!

Now the question is, when will the fabric be available, right? The Hexie Flowers collection is being introduced to the public today! That means you are the first to know, even before the fabrics are shown at Quilt Market. Hexie Flowers will ship out in 2024 and the best way to make sure you can get some of these pretty hexies is to ask your local or online fabric shop to carry the line.

Send the shop owners the Hexie Flowers Lookbook or ask them in person. Your support means everything!

Thank you, friends for all your encouragement and for sewing along with me these last few years. I’m excited to share the next steps of this quilty journey with you. I just know you’re going to LOVE Hexie Flowers!

A special Thank You to the Camelot Fabrics Team. You all are amazing!

with love, Jasmine
